Hey, it's Me, Angel-Kitty!

Far be it for me to be crabby and ill-tempered, but I thought it necessary to point out some upsetting occurrences in this house in which I live. NOT that I’m complaining or anything since the folks and the kid are real nice to me but I must say, “THAT DOG!”

But really, who does he think he is anyway? You’d think he wrote this great book that was published about him or something. I get treated like a second class citizen among these walls in which I exist.

For instance, when it’s nap time, I scamper to Big D and Nee Nee’s bed. I turn ‘round and ‘round in a circle to find the perfect place, plop down on the blanket and pull the covers up close around me. I tuck my nose inside my front paws to count mice before I drift off to sleep and THUMP!

CRIPES… Hurricane, do you have to be such a lug? I mean, Geez Louise, there is an entire bed in which to sprawl your enormous body out and you lay right on top of me? UGH!!!!

Something else- I like to disappear into my favorite hiding place which is in the bathroom on top of the towels on the shelf, but shhhh, don’t tell anyone! Saturday I am minding my own business taking a snooze when Hurricane trounces into the room and lured into the tub. Big Baby…doesn’t even like a bath.

So he whimpers and cries and BOO-HOO’s then gazes at me with those sad puppy dog eyes and out of the blue. He shakes…and SHUDDERS! And all this spray goes airborne covering me with mist. I may as well have taken a bath myself~

Oh, and another thing since Hurricane’s such an ogre! You will never believe this….he hogs the sunbeams. Yep, right there when the front door is open and the warm rays are shining upon the floorboards Hurricane collapses and steals all the heat. Can you believe that? How dare he be so wicked!

I will just have to reprimand him by cuddling and curling up next to him---the ol’ tyrant! …brothers, anyone want one?

Ahh, I think I asked that question already and there were no takers; CRAP! I guess I'll have to keep him!

Oh, Angel-Kitty! I feel your pain!

This is Samantha. Tina is my person and she let me read your blog post. I think you are beautiful. I'm black and white and beautiful too!

You really have to put up with so much, having a dog for a brother. You have my sympathies. But you seem to have a lot of patience. Just vent on the blog whenever you need to, and my person will let me know.

I have another cat for a brother. He's a Tabby. He is such a boy. Always jumping around, making a lot of noise. Always chasing something. I guess that's why my people named him Chase. He's a little whipper-snapper, while I am more sedate, befitting my age of 15. I just tell myself that I must set a good example for him. He will learn someday.

Perhaps Hurricane will learn someday too.

P.S. I love the idea of sleeping on top of the towels. Does it matter how many towels?

Well that sure sounds like comfy time is a wee bit complicated, but I still think you can train him!

Oh Angel-Kitty, we can't choose our family-we just have to put up with them. I think if you give Hurricane the look in your picture you might get him to straighten up a bit.

Brothers--sheesh. They are smelly. They are bullies. They eat up all the good food and grab all the attention--but it sounds like you've got a good one in comparison to some of the others I have heard about. Give him a snuggle, Angel Kitty, and be glad it isn't worse.

That's OK Angel Kitty. Everyone knows cats rule and dogs drool.

Hi Angel-Kitty, I think that Nee Nee is going to let you have your own BOOK soon... Since Hurricane's book is doing so well, I just think that your book will be next... Then--you will be PRINCESS of the HOUSE (Not that you aren't in that position already)....

Hugs,
Betsy

You know it is a one sided story and poor Hurricane being picked on by that cat.i had almost forgotten what traffic I have with animals until visiting my other home a few weeks ago. Those darn cats I kept saying.

Thanks for visiting, please come back next week as my two cats will be celebrating their 17th birthday.
Angel-Kitty, you really have a lot to say for yourself. Though I see you have a hard life with that BIG brother of yours.

Hi Angel, it is I, Madi. Thank you so much for stopping by to say hi I love meeting new friends. OMC we do look alike. You are the closet blogger to us we have met.
We are in Raleigh. We live near Crabtree Vally Mall. I live with my peeps..both retired. Mom just retired from NCSU on April 1, 2011...and she loves it.

Was Hurricane named after the Carolina Hurricanes...or is he as destructive as a coastal hurricane.

Hugs from Madi and Mom

Very cute post. Loved it. I do not have cats but they seem like they are so much fun to play with. I wouldn't trade my dog for a cat. I am just saying.
TFS.

Ah you know you love Hurricane who doesn't. Maybe Mommy will write a book about you one day if you pretend to love your brother. lol
By the way I loved reading about Hurricane's Life and I need to do a post about it.
My life keeps getting big curves that keep me from doing what I want to do but hopefully soon I can tell everyone how much I enjoyed your book.
Thanks for the sweet words. I am waiting tomorrow on news about my grand babies daddy. He found out his kidneys are not functioning properly and I have been so depressed over that but hopefully after the kidney specialist tomorrow I will feel better.
Love
Maggie
