Hey, it's me, Angel-Kitty~

SHhhhh . . . I’m going underground this day to disappear from that life-size auburn monster otherwise known as my Doggie-brother. Can you see me now?

Well, don’t talk; just listen! I don’t want him to hear our voices and locate us.

I had to creep underneath this throw cushion on my Nee Nee and Daddy’s bed since I woke my Nee Nee up at 3:46 in the wee hours of darkness. . .

Yeah, I know it wasn’t the smartest thing to do but let me explain before you go leaping to conclusions.

I have this string you see. It’s an appealing multihued ribbon actually and I clutch it in my mouth. I rarely part from it because I have on the spot entertainment wherever I go. However, with Hurricane, I rarely get to amuse myself; he’s always bothering me. . . BROTHERS!

You see, he is always tormenting me AND getting me into mischief so this morning when I had difficulty sleeping I dug up my string from the laundry basket. Well, here comes Hurricane with his massive clod-ka-diddle-hoppers trailing me up the stairs. He was approaching so close I could smell his doggie-breath; UGH!

I was afraid he’d nip my stunning tail so I hurdled onto Daddy and Nee Nee’s bed searching for an opening in the covers to hide from Hurricane.

Whew, there was one! . . . So I took a dive inside hauling my string behind. How was I to know Nee Nee would awaken from a sound catnap and imagine there was a bed bug on her leg?

Geez Lousie, it’s not my fault!

Needless to say she sat upright and flung the covers to the floor making a little ‘SCREEEECH!’…

Oooppsss. . . ‘Good Morning Nee Nee!’ I said in my most optimistic voice trying to smile.

UH-OH, it didn’t work!

So you see, I’m just keeping a low profile today and hiding so shhhh, don’t tell anybody I’m here, especially that giant ogre of a brother ‘cause it’s ALWAYS his fault...he's old enough to know better!

Hahahahaha, this was so funny, Angel-Kitty! My babies like strings, too.

Brothers are like that. But, if you were ever in danger, he'd protect you.

In the meantime, we'll keep it on the down-low :)

Have a great Caturday!

I SO miss the adventures of a cat being around!! I really do! They are always full of beans and love to blame their misfortunes on the nearest critter.... be it human or not!
Got to love them though!

Poor Nee Nee.... She can't ever get any sleep.... Between Hurricane and Angel-Kitty, Nee Nee has a huge job of keeping them happy, well-fed, and comfy....

I am crying this morning --worried so much about poor Nee Nee... My advice to you, Angel-Kitty: Stay off of Nee Nee's BED. Or else, she will take away your 'pet' string FOREVER.... Yipes!

Cute post!!!! Loved it.
Hugs,
Betsy

I can totally see why you are keeping a low profile! How were you to know that string would cause such a commotion?

Too cute. I would have jumped up too.

Yes, Angel Kitty, I believe the safest place for you today is out of sight.

Angel Kitty, We have a bedspread exactly like the one you're on in the photo. Our 3 Yorkies spend a good deal of time laying on it everyday.

If I had a dollar for every time I told Buck "no" when he runs after the kitties...

Hang in there, Angel Kittie. Nee Nee needs to communicate the rules more clearly to Hurricane. :)

I know what you are going through except mine is with a 100 pound lab dog who thinks he is a lap dog :o(

I know just what you mean about that nasty dog breath thing. Especiall when it is your brother.
My daughter has me babysitting her cocker spaniel this weekend and he has bad breath too plus he has aggrivated the heck out of my kitty Tinkerbell. You and Tink would get along fine because she is always waking me up in the middle of the night usually slapping my face with her paw.
I have to tell you I really enjoyed my visit here today. I needed a good laugh

Hey!
Thanks for stopping by my blog! And, thanks for the lovely compliments! New England is a special place. I love Acadia in Maine, but the whole coast is really special! I'm glad I could check out your blog as well.
Cheers,
Courtney

At least Angel Kitty is apologetic!

Angel Kitty looks perfectly innocent to me. It's really not her fault that the string scared Nee Nee, is it?
Thank you for the birthday wishes and kind comments.

Angel-Kitty! You little sweetie! Being all sweet and cute will not keep you out of trouble for bouncing and pouncing on your Nee Nee's and Daddy's bed. You skeered the life out of your Nee Nee and she doesn't have the luxury of nine lives like you little Fuzz Face. Good to lay low, pounce under the radar for a few days and no hoarking up anything on the rugs.

How sweet! Some days I would like to go in hiding...move over! heehee! ♥

What a delightful trip inside Angel Kitty's mind. Such a stressfull day for her and Nee Nee. Never heard of a security string before but why not?
Lay low gal, it will all blow over.

OMG that's the most well versed kitty I've ever heard. You go hide Angel Kitty and you tell that big brother of yours to lay off! How dare he get you in trouble so much. Maybe you could talk your Nee Nee into posting a picture of your favorite string toy? I have some curious kitties reading over my shoulder and they're wondering why they don't have one.

I wake up and can't move because of creatures taking advantage of the bed. One I have likes to give me a little claw sometimes to share her affection.I have 2 new ones hanging around the stable.

LOL! Angel-Kitty, I see you have inherited an excellent knack for story-telling from your Nee-Nee. You are such a sweetie - and smart too! Don't let your slobbery brother get his kibble breffs all over your preciousness... it takes forever to get that stuff off. ;o)

LOL! What an adventurous morning! You should try sleeping in a little. That way, you'll stay out of trouble at least until noon!
