Hey, it's me- Angel-Kitty!

...still a bit dazed, but intact!

Okay, my Nee Nee told me of the remarks made on my previous story about Hurricane setting off the alarm. If you missed it, here is a link to my last tale.

Anyway, now that the holidays are complete I can finally get back on here and respond and I must say, by the thoughts shared, it seems no one believed me? OR they thought I was being too hard on poor ol’ Hurricane!
Hah, last time I trust you guys to protect me!

At any rate, perhaps this narrative will convince you of my innocence.

It began like any other day; same scenario: humans getting ironed clothes on, lunches in boxes, morning meal eaten ready to head out the door and poor despicable Hurricane gives them those sad puppy dog eyes-you know the ones. Oh my gosh, I am being left all alone in this house with no one to dote on me, booo-hooo.

GeezLouise, who does he think I am? Chopped dog food?
I saunter past the ‘pathetic storm’ and whip my tail in his face…nothing!

I make another attempt. This time when I stroll by I accidently-on-purpose step on his nose… ‘Oh I am so sorry brother! I truly didn’t mean that. Did I hurt you? …truly, I’m really sorry!’~

Zero…nil…nilch~ Heavens to Betsy ‘whirlwind’, ‘Snap out of it’!
WHALLOP! I clobber him on the snout with my paw to get a response and react he did!

…the pursuit begins…OVER, UNDER, IN, OUT, BELOW, ABOVE! Hah, this is so much fun!
That is until I scurry into Little D’s closet to hide and SLAM! ….the door fastens behind me….STUCK!!…'Hey there Hurricane, could you open the door for me brother?’

‘uhhh, did I tell you that you are my favorite brother?  ...yep, love you man...’
Silence….'Hurricane? you out there?'

lol...Locked in the closet for awhile huh? Hummmmm...a well deserved punishment. Our Barney locked himself in the closet not long ago. I had no idea and was gone for most of the day. He sat in the dark the entire time. Poor kitty...poor Angel Kitty!! :o)...debbie

Sometimes animals seem really really sorry - - - -, just look in their eyes and you will know.

Also, our dog Indy used to start jumping up and down and wag his tail at the sight of my car from five houses away, I used to feel so bad that he was left alone from nine in the morning to three in the afternoon.

God is great. I see his work of putting emotions in the animals and enabling us to feel them without words being told and heard.

Enjoy your pets Tracy while you can.

Hey There Angel-Kitty:

Oliver (the dalmatian) here. First, let me say you don't sound as if you're living up to your name. Poor Hurricane! I have great empathy for him. I, personally, don't have a resident cat in my abode and, from what my canine friends have told me, felines can be unkind to canine brothers and sisters--just repeating what I've been told here. Did you stop to think, Angel-Kitty, that perhaps sweet, dear Hurricane closed that door on you?

Best,
Oliver

What a fun post for the day, Tracy! Our animal friends do tell a tale of their own -- or should that be "tail"! Love the expression on Angel-Kitty's face! Hope you and your family and your four-legged friends have a great weekend!

I'm Sorry Angel Kitty, but I have to be on Hurricans side on this. Now I am not saying all cats are trouble, but as you know, I live with Allred (Devil Cat) and I have learned that most felines have a secret power of putting the blame on k-9's.

You guys always look incapbable of being the instigators while we sweet golden retrievers have a look of "I'm Sorry" glued on our faces thus making us always look like we have done something wrong but are sorry about it.

So since I know the truth about your intent, I have to side with Hurricane and total innocense.

Love it! Our cat has done the same, and our dogs are notorious for locking themselves in the car. Automatic locks are not so great!!!

OMC! Does this story continue? TW locked me inna closet once. Actually she did it twice and Pop rescued me. I'm missing the resemblance between us beside we're both cats.
