Poetry Tuesday...

Dressed in silken attire,
Skirts floating and swaying in the breeze,
Their jeweled petals flirting and toying
As they appeal to passersby.
Their fragrance demands my presence
And their beauty radiates an aura-
Delicately charming all of nature:
Flowers…

Oh me those are some might pretty words Ms. Tracy. I wouldn't mind having one of those flowers to tuck behind my ear on Saturday....I'm attending a Debutante Ball in honor of Truffle @ Sweet Purrfections.

Wow! Tracy this sure is a beautiful poem. You've included so much lovely imagery. I'm so glad I found your blog. This is wonderful. I'm a former elementary teacher, too and also live in NC. Your blog is super. I guess by now your school is out. I hope you will have a great summer and enjoy your vacation writing more lovely poems.

Did you write this? I love it, it alludes to flowers being like beautiful ladies, so cool!!!! The petals being the silken skirts...this really should be published somewhere. And the pictures are so good, I would like to see each one showcased bigger by itself.

Flowers are truly charming! Each one has a distinct characteristic. I get magnetized when I see a lovely, arranged bouquet or center piece and can't stop to sigh and admire!
