Beautiful quotes and great photos! Is that beach somewhere near the outer banks? The kites reminded me of the outer banks :)

I love that song, isn't it "Old Friends"? You are a talented scrapbooker, what joy in these pictures! Thanks for letting us look through the pages of your life.

I just love scrap booking. The memories are forever.
I love getting "lost" in photographs. Time seems to hark back to the time and place of sweet memories! Your scrapbook is wonderfully done.
Best,
Bonnie

So pretty! I have a scrapbook project on the go. It's been 'going' for several years. You inspire me to finish it!

Great post!
photos + words = MEMORIES...
These are great, Tracy! Your family is lucky to have you capturing these memories, in such a pretty and creative way too. :-)
I think scrapbooking is very much like blogging. I find myself thinking about the photos I take and how they will look in a blog post -- do you do the same thing with your scrapbook pictures Tracy? Imagine what they will look like on a scrapbook page? :)
Hi Tracy, You are so creative.... Love your scrapbooks... They are definitely your memories!!!!
I want to get my blog put into a book.. It will cost me a small fortune ---but I need to do it --for the memories it will leave for future generations...
Since we've gone digital on our photos now, I don't make albums like I used to... SO--I need to get my blog printed..
Hugs,
Betsy
Pictures are just the best!
I so admire people who create like this. I have no patience for it! LOL! These are wonderful Tracy. :c)
I could use a little beach, I have wanted to be there all month.
Hi Tracy, Here's hoping you have many good days and more fond memories. In answer to your question, I don't use the follower's gadget, though I believe people connect from their own blogs and dashboards. Have a great day!
Such beautiful memories and such an important part of our lives!
Hi Tracy: My book club just finished and discussed "Major Pettigrew's Last Stand". It was a comfortable book to get into and I recommend it highly. We are very diverse in that we read biographies, political books, best sellers and memoirs. It's a serious book group made up of women who are homemakers, professionals, etc. We also do outings as a group with our husbands to museums, historic sites, etc. Last year, we visited one of the huge cemeteries in Chicago where a lot of well-known people are buried. Very interesting! We also go to the musical offerings in Chicago.
Thanks for asking.
Best,
Bonnie

Beautiful scrapbook pages! Thanks for stopping by my blog. To answer your question, no, I don't live on Vashon. My son and his family live there and we were visiting when I took the barn photo. I live in Fairbanks, Alaska, but we like to travel, so I often post photos taken in various other places that we've visited.
What a bunch of lovely memories here..just great! ;D
Beautifully done and what a wonderful passage to place at the foot of your post. Quiet lovely, dear!
