"B" is for book, buy, blogs, boys and BGSU...

*book and buy: I received an e-mail late last night to preview the website that allows the selling of my book: Life through the Eyes of Hurricane: Doggie-Dog! Isn’t that wonderful news? It actually brought tears to my eyes knowing that this dream is coming to fruition…stay tuned!

* blogs: starting my blog was one of the most incredible things I have done. I have met a number of awesome people and shared in countless experiences I might not have been privy to; life on a prairie in Nebraska, the Iditarod in Alaska, life in the Pacific Northwest as well as Ethiopia and India. Thank you to all of you for including me in your life!

*boys: my husband, Scott, son Nicholas and dog Hurricane. My boys take such good care of me in their loving and nurturing of me. When I had the lump removed from my tongue on Monday, Nicholas gave me a foot and leg rub, covered me with a blanket and lay beside me as he gently stroked my face. Scott continually amazes me with his tenderness and protectiveness in addition to his willingness to cook, clean, grocery shop so I can cultivate my writing. Hurricane, well he keeps me entertained always with his antics.

*BGSU-which stands for Bowling Green State University; where I graduated with my undergraduate degree in teaching special education. I’m proud of my alma mater. Go Falcons!

Happy ‘B’ Day and ‘C’ you on Monday; Sunday is an obligatory ‘off’ day!

Hi Tracey, Nice to meet you. Thanks for visiting me. I like what I see here too so you got yourself a new stalker :) I love dogs and Hurricane what a fantastic name. If you come back for a visit you should read my post on my furry friends. Have a great day

Your story about Nicholas reminds me of my son Ethan. The other day, I was feeling a little blue and he told me, "Mommy, whenever you feel lonely, just think happy thoughts!" Then he gave me a great big hug and patted me on the back and told me he loved me "THIS MUCH!!!" Such wisdom from such a wee one - he will be five next month.

Stopping by on the A to Z hop. I hope you will have time to stop by my "house" too.

Cheers (and congrats on the book!) -

First off, dear one, I hope that your tongue is feeling better and that you are healing well! That must have been very painful so I am glad that you had your wonderful boys to take care of you!

I love the picture of you and Hurricane! Such sweet faces! Congratulations on the book news! That is truly exciting and I cannot wait for the update. I am very happy for you:)

Blogs are WONDERFUL! I adore my blogging friends and am so grateful for their presence in my life. You are one of those very special people! I am so glad that we found each other!

Thank you for your love, support and prayers for Jack and his beautiful family. It is so hard knowing that this next part of his journey will be his final transition. I find it hard to accept a world without Jack in it. I know that he is being very well taken care of and loved by so many. He has touched so many lives and will continue to do so through his mommies and his sister, but still... Thank you.

Have a lovely weekend.
Hugs and love,
Deb

What an awesome picture!

And I bet you think I forgot all about the pillowcases you won on my blog approximately 100 years ago.

I did not forget.

However. The ones I dyed for you did not make me happy and I wouldn't send them out as a prize.

So in a couple weeks I'm gearing up for the big annual tie dye event with my kids at work.

And I will make every human effort to do some for you this time that turn out right.

Honey this is my third time today to pop over and try to leave you a comment. For some reason this comment box would not open for me. Oh how happy I was when it did because I am so excited that your getting your book out there for all to buy and enjoy. You must be beside yourself with excitement. Please let me know where I can buy your book...I can not wait to read it.
I know this may not be a good time to ask you but it would help promote your book if you did a Blogazine guest post on my site then you could tell everyone about yourself and your book.
If your too busy I understand but I would love for everyone to hear about this. Are you familar with my blogazine guest stories. It has been way too long since I posted one. Under my headboard is the page you can click on and find others that have written their stories.
Once again I am thrilled for you.
Love
Maggie
