Fragrant, Favorite Flowers…
“Earth laughs in flowers."

My mantra when Ohio was the placed we called home is that you can never have too many flowers. Shown here are photos of a variety of flowers that were in my immense gardens. I loved tending to and nurturing my magnificent outdoor splendor.
Unfortunately, in North Carolina these beauties are mere memories as the heat and drought tend to overtake the exquisite flora.
See how nature - trees, flowers, grass - grows in silence; see the stars, the moon and the sun, how they move in silence...we need silence to be able to touch souls.”

Thanks for these beautiful images. I'm looking forward to my gardens this summer.
Can't wait to start planning my garden. We have had to put all our flowers in a waiting bed while remodeling. I love Lillies too :)
Seems we are both thinking of gardening today. Seeing those lovely photos makes me kind of question my desire to go more for food this year.
Loved the quote. She is high on my list of people living or dead I would love to meet. What an amazing person.
You and I have very similar tastes in flowers, Tracy. Columbine, lilies, pansies and phlox. All so pretty -- you must miss them terribly.
Beautiful. I am partial to the pansies. They are all lovely though.
I LURVE flowers! Thanks for these beautiful photos, Tracy!
Sweet pansy faces. Funny how some flowers just speak to us.

Beautiful flowers, I can almost smell them. Enjoy the spring. We are still waiting, been promised its on its way.
Beautiful photos! It's hard to grow flowers here in Texas too. Particularly right now as it is super dry.
I love all the pictures and wish they were in my yard! I worked for a very short time at a local florist and we had a banner in the window that read, "The sole existence of a flower is to bring joy".
Beautiful!! Oh I love your quote about earth laughing in flowers!!!! Lovely!!
These are wonderful blooms - very pretty, supremely delicate but oh so good for the soul and the eye!! Thank you! Take care

After living 27 years in Texas, I'm always amazed when I visit Wisconsin at how lush everything is - the backyards are busting with greens and blooms. I'm sure Ohio was the same way. Ahhh...
Really nice flowers, I have a lot around my yard. I am not sure when to stop buying them until I totally run out of space. It sounds like you need to install some drip irrigation and mulch more to beat that heat.
Beautiful. I did mine on flowers too.
I like gardening and these photos are exquisite!
Thank for sharing this beauty.
Have a great Thursday!
I really love Mother Teresa's wise words. Thank you for bringing flowers for us today.
Rita

The daffodils are what's coming up in our backyard now. And a few crocuses that look rather pathetic. Next will be the tulips.
I love flowers. Beautiful pictures.
I know what you mean about the heat and here they dry desert climate. Your flowers were gorgeous and I can imagine how beautiful your gardens must have been. Silence is necessary for us I believe.--Inger
I love that quote! And the beautiful flowers! ;D

All so beautiful! Of course I recognize the lilies and pansies, but many others are exotic looking and unknown to me. The pictures are wonderful!!
Beautiful photos - like the idea of Earth laughing through flowers. :)
Isn't it amazing how a pansy has the image of a butterfly? I'm thinkin' this was not a mistake on Mother Nature's part!!
Beautiful photos! Beautiful (my fave) Emerson quote.
Leave it to Mother Teresa to come up with such a profound statement. I love the flower pictures!

They are just lovely.
Gorgeous flowers, Tracy! I agree. You can never have too many of them. :)

Hi Tracy, You know that I love flowers also. We have many of those you pictured in our yard at various times during the year. Right now, we have lots of Tulips, Pansies and some Daffodils. Next will come the Irises and Lilies. Love 'em!!!!!! Thanks for showing us such beauty.
