"U" is for Untitled...

A to Z Challenge:
ABC's of My Life...

Isolation within a crowd,

A non-entity,

one amongst herself.

Brown eyes overflowing with loneliness,

Unvoiced sadness elbows for attention.

Enduring melancholy with

sorrow and grief--her only companions.

The sound of her own voice

grasps for understanding,

indulgent in prayer.

What a deep sad post. I am not sure how to comment except to say, but no matter how lonely it can be if you loook for it there is always light at the end of the tunnel... and Spring is coming.

Tracy - Untitled, but are you the author? I am always curious on what is happening in the author's life at the time such sadness finds words!

Well written poem, Tracy, thoughtful and sad. That one came from a place deep within, I think.

That's a beautiful bird in that photo. I don't think I have ever seen one like that.

This made me think of a fellow I met yesterday, sitting in a park by himself.I stopped and chatted while he let my dog lick him to death. He lived alone without pets, and came to put his feet in the water of the lake after eating a picnic. I think he would easily have joined my day with us easily, lonliness can be hard on any holiday.

Wow, I'm just a dog but I know beauty when I see it. The bird, the words, Touched my fourlegged heart.

Thank You

You have certainly described a few days of mine over the past few months. Beautiful, sad words and I do hope you're feeling better if indeed it was a look at your world, Tracy. The photo is exquisite as always. Thanks for sharing. Have a great week!

Sad. Makes me think of all the homeless people we have in the world. I hope the inspiration didn't come from your own circumstances. Stay well.

Hi Trac, That Cedar Waxwing is a gorgeous bird.... WOW!!!! They love berries --and they love to be near water.

Very sad poem--but it's true. There are many lonely people in this world. Sometimes, even if they are surrounded by people, they are still lonely.

Hugs,
Betsy

I don't think it's sad -- melancholy and introspective is more like it!! Hope you are well!

Oh Tracy this is lovely. Painting the Melancholy often felt when lost, adrift.

Did you write this, Tracey? How poignant and melancholy, but a lovely and expressive poem. Is this you? I hope not! Isolation in a crowd, I think more common then we may know.

If these are just beautiful but sad words you so poetically wrote than I must say you're very talented. Yet if they are the words from your heart...than I'm sending you my love and hugs, and wishing for you brighter days.

Oh... how can someone like you go through loneliness? This is just more evidence that EVERYONE MUST! You are a wonderful person. I feel a bit of a kinship with you in many ways; look at your profile about yourself, and you are reading about me as well. It sort of makes me think I must be an OK person, too... and that it is OK to feel lonely sometimes. :)

Wonderful writing. Thank you for sharing.
