Blogfest...

I've never posted two blogs in one day however after I posted spring poetry...because I want spring and all it encompasses to get here FAST! Anyway, I then  realized Nicole was hosting a blog fest and it looked fun so I have to answer the following questions.
IF you want to sign up for the blog fest and participate, go to Nicole's site and become a part of the fun~

1.What is your favorite word?  'Cripes'

2.What is your least favorite word?  when people use 'Jesus Christ' as an expression

3.What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally? nature

4.What turns you off? violence

5.What is your favorite curse word? well, the F-word but only on the golf course, but typically I try not to swear~

6.What sound or noise do you love?  falling rain, squeaking tennis shoes on the basketball court

7.What sound or noise do you hate?  a crash, or glass breaking

8.What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?  Umm, a photo/journalist or an art therapist working with abused children

9.What profession would you not like to do?  a Vet...I can't stand to see animals suffer

10.If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates?  I want God to say, 'You done good, girl!'

Fellow blogfest participant and new follower here. I really like your idea of being an art thearapist working with abused children. What a difficult job, but so fulfilling if you can help someone. Check out my answers if you get a chance: http://writinginwonderland.blogspot.com/

Yay! This is such a fun blogfest. I really liked your #6--squeaking tennis shoes. I wouldn't have thought of that, but it's a good one... And oh, yes. Vet. But that is similar to mine~ :o) <3

This was a fun post, Tracy. Nature often inspires me also. :)

I can't believe you mentioned the squeaking of tennis shoes on a basketball court. That is also one of my absolute favorite noises!

That was fun. It says a lot about you.
I can truly say that I haven't heard the word "cripes" in a very long time. :-)

Numbers 2,3,4,8,10 are the exact same answers I would give!!!! We have a lot in common!!

I try not to cuss either, and I like your number two. Glad to know I'm not the only one who inwardly winces every time they hear that.

Love your #10 response. Wonderful.
I noticed in your profile, you are a Spec. Ed. teacher. I truly appreciate you. I have a son with significant special needs. He even has a blog :-) You have my applause for your professional choice.

How fun to read these and get to know you better! Ha, I like the humorous tone of the word Cripes, myself. I too cringe at Jesus Christ used as a swear word, but I also am not fond of hearing the f-bomb. Some people use it just like a regular noun or adjective. Booo...

And now I know you a little better... :)

Great answers! I'm with you, I don't like when people say "Jesus Christ." I'm not a religious person, but I know that offends a lot of people who are. So using it just shows the speaker is insensitive, which puts me off.

Love your answer to #10!

Thanks for playing along!!

These are good answers. I know I am guilty of #2 all the time.
Cripes is good too! Thanks for visiting me too!

Oh, Golf a bad word to me. Never did get that game but apparently I was doing something wrong. I did like racing the carts though :) Great answers Tracy, especially #2. I so agree.

Great answers.

That was fun! Yeah, not a big fan of "Jesus Christ" as an expression--or OMG for that matter. We say OMN (Oh My Nuggets. I had chicken nuggets on the brain, I don't even like chicken nuggets!) or OMW (Oh My Word). I love the sound of raindrops and the wind through the trees! Golf makes me crazy too--my oldest excels in it though, figures--anything to make me NUTS!

Thanks for opening the door and letting us peak in. I must admit that squeaky sneakers to me runs pretty close to fingernails on a blackboard. Different strokes.

Hi, Tracy,

Hearing the Lord's name taken in vain always startles me. I don't think I'd want to be a vet either.
