a note from Miss Angel-Kitty~

Hey Y'All,
It's me, Miss Angel-Kitty!  ...like that?

As you know, or perhaps you need to be reminded as I did that I am a Southern Belle and like all Southern Ladies the term 'Miss' is in front of their name so I now want to be referred to as Miss Angel-Kitty! I think I like the sounds of that~

Anyway, I am filling in this morning for my Nee Nee because she is dealing with the Creepy-Crud as she calls it. She said her kids gave it to her at school. Well, I do declare, such nice children to give her things so special. Did you hear my newly acquired Southern accent as I said that? Well, please listen more carefully next time, will you?

So...as I was saying, Nee Nee is sick and she is fretting about not making it around to your house for a proper visit, however she did mention that a spot of tea would do just the trick for her throat. Although you truly wouldn't want her cough or her sneezes; sometimes I can't tell the difference so I can express a right nice 'Bless you' to my Nee Nee.

So I do aim to head on out of here and fixin' to get my much needed beauty rest. You know a girl can never have enough. (wink-wink)

Go Hog-Wild and have a fabulous Day!

I'll be happy to send some tea for your Nee Nee, Miss Angel-Kitty. I have green tea with lemon, peppermint tea, or perhaps some nice chamomile to help her feel better. Along with a wee bit of catnip for you!

Rose hip tea is a must in my house. Hope you feel better. We called all the adults Sir and Ma'am when I worked in Sp Ed and it became hard to address them by actual name in public.

Miss Kitty, I'm sorry your mom is not feeling well. A cup of hot tea should sound good to her. Come to think of it, I'm off now to make a cup of hot apple cider. Tell your mom to take care of herself and get well quickly.

Miss Angel Kitty, you do the south proud. Such a lady. How sweet of you to take over the blog for your puny Nee Nee. Snuggle with her, keep her warm and let her know we hope she gets well really soon.

Hello Miss Angel Kitty! Glad you get an extra day with Nee Nee because I'm sure you got some wonderful loving along with a warm person to snuggle with. Tell Nee Nee to be careful around those little ones. It really is way to easy to catch what they have. In fact strep is going around my school and right now, my ears are hurting like I might wake up tomorrow with the sore throat :(

So sorry to hear of the illness, I am sick again for the fourth time myself. Whatever it is, it sure is creeping!! Honey and lemon is very good. Or perhaps just to sit a spell on the veranda with a fan and a tall mint julep. Also those hoop skirts just aren't good for the circulation, you shall have to do away with wearing them for the time being. The same for the whalebone corset.

Hey MISS Angel Kitteh! Tell your Nee Nee that I hope she gets to feeling better pronto. And tell her if she feels a teeny spurt of energy to give you a good scritch from me!

Well Miss A-K, tell your Nee Nee I hope she feels better soon. In the meantime, reclining on a "fainting" couch and being served with hot chicken soup and steaming cups of tea (and a bonbon or two) really helps!!

Best,
Bonnie

Why Miss Angel Kitty, you sound just like a refined Southern lady. Being a born and bred Southerner I can detect your accent easily.

Tell your Nee Nee we hope she feels better soon. A little honey in that tea would be very soothing.
