Pages of my Life...

When anxious, uneasy and bad thoughts come, I go to the sea, and the sea drowns them out with its great wide sounds, cleanses me with its noise and imposes a rhythm upon everything in me that is bewildered and confused.

It's been a very pleasurable weekend as I spent some time scrapbooking and living vicariously through memories of our moments spent at our favorite vacation spot: Emerald Isle. So for your viewing pleasure, please find below sprinklings  of well, 'Beachin' it!' although I took the photo with the spread backwards. Oh well...you get the picture!

No Hurricane in sight~a lovely day!

I love the beach. I wish I lived closer to the ocean. Great pictures, and you did a wonderful job with the scrapbook pages. We're getting freezing rain tonight, so I enjoyed "visiting" the beach with you. :)

Scrapbooking must be so much fun, particularly for family things that you have done together and can look back upon.

Isn't it nice to have those photos to get you through the winter, isn't it? Sigh. I would KILL to have my feet in the sand right about now.

These pages are amazing! I'm jealous of people like you who make those scrapbooks look great. I've never been good at that, and quit once my oldest turned 1. Your family will be grateful you took the time to make beautiful memories even more beautiful.

I, too, love the steadying rhythm imposed by the ocean. Even the thought is calming. Lovely scrapbooking. A great way to capture family memories.

I think re-living happy times is a sure way to chase the blues away. Glad you found some time to do that this weekend.

Those are awesome pages that you've created, Tracy!

Is it just me complaining about my old eyes having difficulty reading this font? Well, it's hard to make out the words :-(

I can watch that ocean like some watch TV. It has that power for me as well.I wish I was closer, but always place it in vacation destinations.

A mini shark of some kind? Must do an online search :-o

I went to the beach a couple of weeks ago but it was covered in 60 inches of snow (hard snow, I could walk on it) and I had to bend down to walk under the "Welcome" sign over the path leading to the beach. The sea was frozen, not as far as I could see but almost. Sigh.
