Happy Memorial Day!

"The bravest are surely those
who have the clearest vision
of what is before them,
glory and danger alike
and yet notwithstanding,
go out to meet it."

Happy Memorial Day...

may you pause to remember
those who
have fought the brave fight
to bring you your freedom-
to live, to love, to grow,
to be who you are
to the core of your being.

Thank you to our soldiers
both past and present-

God Bless America~

I love that unusual shot of the flag. Let's hope that this day gives people more of an appreciation of vets and treat them better.

A very thoughtful (no pun intended) reminder of the meaning behind the day.

Gorgeous post. Thanks so much. We don't ever need to stop thanking those service men and women who did (and are doing) so much for OUR FREEDOM. God Bless them ALL.

Happy Memorial Day, my friend.
Hugs,
Betsy

Amen indeed.
Tracy, I can relate to millitary family. Up until my brother retired I used to have my heart in my throat whenever he would be sent away. It was not easy for his wife and kids either. Today after a long time they are able to live under one roof. Being a Navy chief he was able to be a good provider but he did not realize how worried we used to be. I wish that every soldier is as lucky as he is. Thank God.
