"W" is for Whispers...

perceptions + quotes + reality =
A to Z Challenge~

Her life resembles a whisper,
with soft and gentle hands-
though concealing a sword to strike
impending aches of the open-air .
Her soul rides the temperate breezes
concealing the sorrow using shrouds of snow.
She embraces the act of living
with profound consideration and reflection.
Her spirit seeks strength through
the stream of gratitude
while silencing critics.
She soars on the wings of butterflies
and murmurs hopefulness and compassion
with a tender kiss of adoration.

"Let not thy will roar, when they power can but whisper."
by Thomas Fuller

This is beautiful to me. I have a huge passion for poetry to begin with. More than any "language", it speaks to me. I have always wanted to have the gift of actually being a poet.

More than the style, though, I really love this message.

just beautiful (that's me, whispering)

Beautiful. My favorite line: Her spirit seeks strength through
the stream of gratitude
while silencing critics.

Fabulous poem and quote, Tracy... Have you ever notice what happens when people WHISPER???? EVERYONE around them stops talking because they want to hear what is being said. You want someone's attention???? Don't HOLLER.... Whispering works....

I can ignore all of the commercials on TV unless someone whispers. That catches my attention...

Hugs,
Betsy
