A is for Angels….

begin.....

Welcome to A to Z Challenge......

I believe in Angels.
They appear far and wide in a variety of figures, hues and dimensions. In fact, Saturday morning a dawdling snow-white traveling angel in the form of a car was ahead of me as I struggled to zip home from errands.

The more annoyed I became, the more sluggish it became, or so it seemed. You know the routine as I can predict you’ve been in the same circumstance, yes?

I inhaled…and exhaled. Inhaled and let it out gently. Then a thought tiptoed into my awareness that was unpretentious and unassuming. What if that vehicle emerged for the purpose of slowing me down to avoid an impending ticket for excessive speed? Or more importantly, by impeding and averting a collision due to unwarranted quickness?

Immediately, a tranquil and reassuring presence draped over me as I was reminded yet again that I believe in Angels.

"God not only sends special angels into our lives, but sometimes He even sends them back again if we forget to take notes the first time!"

what a wonderful way to think of that slow car
I believe in messages and signs from the universe, I guess that's a bit like angels

How interesting. I would have thought exactly as you did. That there was a reason for the slowdown. Great first post!

Very nice post, Tracy. I think I've been helped by a few angels in my time. :)

Terrific post. I believe that angels are all around us and have had my own experience where annoyance turned to awareness. Thank you for sharing this.

i like this. and i try to think this same way.

when i'm in terrible traffic, due to an accident, i always say 'better to be behind the accident than in it' then try to send good thoughts up ahead to those involved.

and, yes, i believe in angels, too...

Great post! I've often wondered that myself when I've been delayed in traffic or for some other strange reason. And yes, I too believe in Angels!

This is a lovely post. I believe in angels too, and although we aren't aware of them and what is happening, that we are being guided and protected in so many ways.

Awesome post, Tracy.. I too believe in angels--and know that they watch over us.

Have you seen the little sentence on my blog sidebar which says: "A raindrop landing on your cheek is a kiss from someone that lives in heaven and is watching over you".... Anyhow--those are my angels --watching over me!!!!! Thanks be to God.
Hugs,
Betsy

Please don't drive fast and yes I am pretty sure there was a purpose for that car to go slow, we don't know what kind of kindness we get from up above and who is our angel.

Wonderful post! So TRUE!

There have been so many times someone has poked in front of me and when I finally got on the Interstate, I passed a horrible wreck. I realize at that moment, that could have been me and I thank the Lord for slowing me down. :)

I'm doing the A to Z thing too. I hope you visit me. I'm looking forward to reading more of your thoughts.

Angels are present here too. I named my German Shepherd Angel and she has looked after me for 12 years now. I know there are other angels watching too. Thanks for this.

I believe in angels too! And have often had the same thought- that that slow poke ahead saved me from a ticket or an accident all directed by an angel!

A great positive way to look at it. I've had many experiences with my angel/spirit guide in the car. I think it is a place where your mind is on auto pilot for the most part.

How wonderful that you were aware enough to move from annoyance to appreciation. I will try to remember this the next time I get behind a car that seems to be going too slow.

I believe in angels, too--not necessarily the white winged ones, but touches from heaven.

Looking forward to the other posts! :-)

Wow! I believe in angels but never thought of them quite that way. Next time I am behind an annoyingly slow car ... I will try to remember.
