Happy New Year!

While I refuse to make resolutions for the reason that they only set me up for failure I do voice these sentiments to all of you, my family which I’ve always professed encompasses friends and fellow bloggers as each of you along with your words and actions reside within me.

May you be blessed with richness in family and friends.
May you find wealth in ordinary opportunities.
May you find strength to overcome everyday obstacles and challenges,
and power in those that seem insurmountable.
May you find wisdom to triumph over situations that refute logic.
May you find understanding in circumstances that harbor resentment.
May you find tolerance and forgiveness within your heart
to prevail the deceit of others.
May you find honesty to look in the mirror at your shortcomings, and
May you look at others with patience, empathy and compassion, and
in each daily commonplace happening
May you be surrounded by joy, love and laughter.

Welcome 2011~

Lovely sentiments, and a WONDERFUL New Year 2011 to you! I just hope to finish my WIP (2/3 done); that's my goal, but I won't call it a resolution. LOL

I only do one resolution. Same one this year as last. It will show up on my blog tomorrow.

So you never emailed me your snail mail address to let me know what prize you want.

Happy New Year... 2011... sounds so... big.

Thanks for checking on me Tracy. The storms came close but no damage here. There were three fatalities in the NW section of AR.
Thanks again for caring.

Beautiful post, Tracy, and I send the same sentiments right back to you, too. It was a very challenging year, wasn't it, but still much to be thankful for as we can always be reminded of that old poem, "there was a man that had no shoes".
As for resolutions, ha. I'm so old that I've learned the trick. Here's my mantra: "I will NOT make any resolutions" and don't you know how proud I am that I reach the goal every year? Oh yeah, it's good :D
Happy New Year, Tracy XOXOXO

I absolutely LOVE your New Years wishes for us... Thank you! :D

As far as resolutions go... I have a different perspective. Writing what I want to happen somehow adds power and clarity and helps me to turn my dreams into reality. But if I don't accomplish a goal, I will hopefully make some kind of progress as a result of shooting for it. Sometimes it is simply a matter of keeping the goal, but waiting for the season to come. :)

I wish for you, all that you wished for each of us this day... and that the coming year you find success in your secret goals! ;D

Thank you always for your kind heart and words. Many times we hear and see things that shock and break our hearts... Stress is one thing but respect is another... Game was cancelled tonight and the snow is slowing down so we can sstart the clean up tomorrow... Snowplows are hitting our country road as it is one of the main ones into town so we are the first to be cleaned... I am about to shut down the computer and find a movie on TV and have some buttery popcorn... Lovel thoughts and best wishes to you....
