Pages of my Life...

“Creativity is a lot like looking at the world through a kaleidoscope. You look at a set of elements, the same ones everyone else sees, but then reassemble those floating bits and pieces into an enticing new possibility. "

A lot of you share yourself with your lovely photography and I feel like I look into your soul by seeing the world through your eyes. I had a desire to do the same; share a piece of myself with my scrapbooking pages. These are some recent creations of my favorite subjects; my family and friends~

This is the most recent one I finished; our July trip to Emerald Isle....

This is Susan, my best friend from college and of course, Nicholas; they became fast friends!

Antoher glimpse of our golf outing...the blank is for text I haven't gotten around to yet!

My boy, who loves to be outside...this was last year ~

He loves Ohio State being that he was born a Buckeye and often emulates the game. This particular day it was pouring down rain!

Carolina and Ohio State on the same page? Well, both deserve equal time :)

My husband and Nicholas are both runners and they compete in local 5K races~

The love of my life...

Very cool and crafty! Thanks for sharing some "moments" with us. Love that your 'boys' run and share that time together. :)

Fun to keep these memories so nice. I have an old scrapbook I made when I was 13 that needs an overhaul. My kids have done lots, we did a accordian book the last time my daughter visited from a video on the net.

Oh, Tracy, these are all LOVELY! What a good job you did! So you go to Emerald Isle? Me, too! I've been there more times than I can count.
I have an idea for your page on the golf shots. I'll just send you a pic of me when I landed on my behind in a sand trap after an all out swing. I swear, I never knew I knew so many 4 letters words.
XOXOXO

What a beautiful job you did with those pages! I've never gotten into scrap booking but from what I've been told, this must have taken some effort on your part to get this done.

These are fantastic! It makes me want to get out all my scrapping paraphernalia and dive in. I haven't scrapped in at least 3 years (school and work).

They look very professional, like out of a magazine, well done! You really have some creative talent there...

What an inspiring way to share the story of your delightful family! I've never been all that crafty - my wife's got the gift in that department - but I'm always amazed when I see it in others. Just lovely!

You have done a beautiful job. Great keepsake for your family. I'm embarrassed to say many of our photos are in shoe boxes.

I love your scrapbooking. I admire folks who can creatively design these pages with treasured photos of family and friends. I know it is a lot of work but such a treasured momento. Nice to see all the fun photos too! Hope you have a nice week.

I've done some collage work, but not scrapbooking. I've always thought it looked like great fun. Thanks for sharing these images of your life, and your creativity.

Love seeing your scrapbooking pages, Tracy... You are just so creative... I have a cousin who does this ---and hers are wonderful also. I have no creativity like that ---so I'm always envious of those who have it...

Thanks for sharing such a wonderful family with us.... You all don't like sports much, do you????? ha ha
Hugs,
Betsy

I think I'll stick with photography -- I've never been very good at scrapbooking. You on the other hand, have a knack for it. The pages are each like little pieces of your life frozen in time. I really love what you've created. :)

Wonderful job and something you can all enjoy for a lifetime. How neat your boys run together.
I'm sure your son loved the outcome of the Sugar Bowl. It was a tad painful from this view point but since I was born in Ohio, I am almost OK with it.

Tracy thank you so much for sharing these with us. They're wonderful! I've always wanted to scrap but have yet to find the time. I rarely even print my photos out anymore, everything stays on the computer. (bad Kimmy I know)
When you say.. Emerald Isle.. where exactly do you mean?

A lot of people do this scrape booking. I never have gotten into that. I think it is a great idea. It is just another means of preserving your life and things you love.

I don't have the patience for scrapbooking
I always end up with glue lumps or sloppy text or I just don't finish

your work is wonderful

Wow Tracy ~ your scrap booking is fantastic! I have done an album for my son and have a second one to finish. It has been on my 'to do' list for over 2 years. You inspire me to 'get at it'! Lovely memories!

Beautiful scrapbook! Funny you should mention Emerald Isle as very good friends of mine moved there a few years ago. It seems lovely.

We do learn a lot about each other from the photographs and items we post. I'd not thought about that before.
